ABOUT TOMIS FRAS
I am a Croatian/British artist currently working in interactive environmental story-telling through games, theatre and other media.
I design sets, write scripts, and compose soundtracks and songs. My experience designing in 3D started at the age of 12 when I first began using Google Sketch-up and later V-Ray.

I now animate in Blender and Unreal Engine.

BA Hons. Performance: Design and Practice. The course covers stage design, production design, narrative story-telling, directing and performance. It incorporates digital spaces, including VR/AR.
Work Experience:
Summer 2021
NFO Architectural Firm.
I worked for award winning architectural firm NFO in Zagreb, Croatia. I was commisioned to create digital concepts for luxury homes on the Istrian coast.
Autumn 2020
Collaboration with the London Sinfonietta.
I created animations for a short film for the soundtrack ‘Inside Colour’ by Deborah Pritchard. The final films premiered live on YouTube with host Zoë Martlew.
Summer 2019
Motovun Film Festival.
I was part of the selective workshop for young film makers at the Motovun Film Festival, Croatia’s leading festival for international independent films (previous winners include Stephen Daldry and Ken Loach). The workshop included devising and pitching a VR film to HTC Vive.
Easter 2018
Set-up scenery, Cambridgeshire.
I worked for Set-Up Scenery helping to complete the set for a production of Lohengrin at the Royal Opera House, Covent Garden.
Summer 2017
National Youth Theatre.
I was accepted as a member of the NYT. I worked on stage design and construction for the sets of three productions.
